Proofing and Hygiene

With all pest control treatments it is vital that before any treatment is carried out a Proofing and Hygiene survery should always be completed to determine where the initial source of the problem has originated from.

It is paramount for the Hygiene issues to be looked at first to give you the best results from the treatment process. We come across many different proofing and hygiene issues such as entry points to buildings, food waste, overgrown shrubbery, oil spillages and many more.

Pigeons

Pigeons are known to carry numerous diseases and can cause damage to building structures by nesting in gutters and dislodging tiles.

The nests, once left, hold all sorts of additional pest species and pathogens. Moth, Beetles and Mites are to name just a few.

Recently Millennium Pest Control had been requested to reduce numbers of birds on an industrial estate where they were causing damage to the air conditioning units. After carrying out proofing and cleaning we decided to install live cage traps.
