Often a customer would have had a historic problem with pests such as flies or rodents and the insulation has been contaminated. Some customers in the East Anglia area purely want the old out dated insulation removed and disposed of and fresh insulation putting down. Legislation now states that when laying insulation in a loft space it must be between 250-270mm in thickness. This will also help save energy in the house as the insulation will be more effective.
Recently, Millennium Pest Control Ltd completed a successful loft insulation clearance in the Kings Lynn and West Norfolk area. Millennium organised for on site skips for the disposal of the waste and had multiple skips swapped in the duration of the work being completed.
