Woodworm are the larvae stage of a Wood Boring Beetle and it is the larvae stage of this insect that causes the most Structural damage to wooden structures and timber. The adult female Wood boring beetles will lay eggs in the cracks and crevices of the wood where they remain safe. Once they hatch they are at the larvae stage and cause the most damage until they pupate into the Wood boring beetles. If you ever find evidence that this infestation is happening to your property or any belongings it is highly recommended that you have a treatment done.
