Rat and Mice Treatments

Rats and Mice Treatments with Millennium Pest Control Ltd.

With summer gone and winter fast approaching rodents season is fast approaching in the Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, and Kings Lynn areas and they will be moving ever closer to our properties and buildings in search for warmth and shelter. Millennium Pest control Ltd offer rodent treatments in the Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and Kings Lynn areas all year round. In these rodent treatments our skilled technicians will conduct a survey of the property internally and external to assess whether there are proofing issues and ingress points for the rodents to enter buildings. They will also survey externally to see if there are hygiene or vegetation issues that may be offering harbourage and access to the property. They will make professional suggestions to our customers as this is a more long solution to the problems. We will bait and trap accordingly after a risk assessment of the site is conducted. Safety is paramount to us at Millennium Pest Control Ltd along with getting results.

Rodent Facts:

  • Mice and some young rats can fit into spaces the size of a bull point on a pen;

  • Both Mice and Rats are adapted to climb and will often use vegetation, broken downpipes, or damaged items on structures to gain access;

  • They are always looking to feed so if you have bird feeders, over flowing waste bins, or compost heaps this will attract them to you and you will be at risk of an infestation;

  • The gestation period for rats is between 21-24 days and is similar for mice. This means they can be quick to reproduce and can deliver litters each time between 5-14;

  • Any rodent infestation or activity can potentially be harmful to human health;

  • Rats carry fleas and Weil’s Disease (Leptospirosis) which can be fatal.
