There is a protein that they produce that some humans can be allergic too;

German cockroaches can live anywhere up to 100 to 200 days and the females can produce between 4 to 6 egg cases (40 eggs per case) in their life;

They can taint food and be the cause of food poisoning with E. coli and Salmonella bacteria;

They are stubborn and difficult the eradicate as they hide in a host of areas and in small cracks and crevices;

They can enter a home many different ways i.e. through; sewers, drains, cracks and crevices, downpipes, groceries, and delivered boxes;
